First and foremost, the FORDATA app no longer requires adding extensions to browsers, to securely view and upload documents to the VDR. Now you can work on any browser on your Windows or macOS computer or Android - without any additional installations!

We've also sped up key processes, especially the speed of opening very large files!

What else is changing?

  • From now on you can upload files and folders to the VDR directly through the browser window. You no longer need to run an additional component called Uploader, which was previously required. Now file uploading, management and structure editing are available within one tab - Manage Structure and Uploading, which you will find under Documents tab.

  • A report of the completed file loading session is available right after the task is finished, but also later within the structure management panel.

  • Automatic creation of structure in VDR based on previously prepared Excel file.

The function of importing structure into VDR has been significantly developed and improved, so surely every administrator will notice the changes we have made in this area. Now it will take no more than 10 seconds to automatically load hundreds of folders! Our IT team, at the request of customers, has also more than doubled the limit of folders that can be automatically created. One click and 2,000 folders are ready for you in VDR.

  • A new improved way of document viewing in VDR

To open a file in VDR, click on it with the left mouse button. The document will then open within a new tab in the browser. As you work, freely view the content, adjust zoom, rotate and navigate to the desired page, and save or print. Our new tool makes your operations even more intuitive and efficient.

  • We are introducing a new way of securing files called: "Blur View" (enabled by default) and "Fence View" (disabled by default).

Blur View - a new dimension of security. Every document displayed in the VDR is automatically blurred by default, making it difficult to inspect its content. Document preview is only possible by clicking anywhere on the document.

Fence View - displays only a portion of the document content, the rest is "behind the fog". This is a safety feature for the user to take a picture of the screen with the phone and in the case of screen sharing.
