04. Uploading files with electronic signature
From now on, you can add files to the VDR that have e-signature stamps.
Note, that as a service provider we are not responsible for verifying the correctness of the signature. If needed you can use third party apps to do so (e.g.: Sigillum, Smartsign).
Currently, we support files with e-signatures generated by software such as Autenti, Docusign, Adobe Sing, Eversign, and SignNow in the formats indicated below:
- PAdES
- CAdES
- XAdES*
- ASICE *
- SIG *
*To load this file format before starting the loading session, check the checkbox "load files that cannot be protected".
Important note: Since the PDF file downloaded from the VDR has a watermark stamp (the text DO NOT COPY, the email address of the user who downloaded the document, and the time stamp), the document will show that the e-signature is unverified. This is because applying a watermark to a document modifies the document.
