05. Notifications of Newly Uploaded Documents to the System
Within the Fordata VDR, you have access to two types of notifications regarding recently uploaded files. This allows authorized groups to be informed about all the latest updates.
- The First Type: VDR internal notifications (enabled by default)
As a VDR admin, when you upload a document to the system, users belonging to a group with permissions to view its contents will be notified through the available bell icon (fig. 1).
- The Second Type: Notifications About Newly Shared Documents Sent to Recipients' Email Inboxes (Disabled by Default)
As an admin, you can enable these notifications at any time and define the delivery time up to three times per day.
To activate these features (gif. 1):
- Go to the Settings tab.
- Select "Notifications about New Documents."
- Click the slider to enable notifications.
- Define the notification delivery time.
Important: Every user in the VDR has email notifications enabled by default as part of their individual account settings. However, this function will only work if the VDR admin sets it within their permissions.
