06. "View as Investor" - See exactly what each investor sees and what are the restrictions
A new option in the VDR allows you to quickly preview the document structure shared with a specific group. This makes it easier to control the scope of shared information and ensure that each group has access only to the appropriate documents. This feature speeds up the verification of permission settings and enhances the security of shared data.
To view the document structure along with the files shared with a specific group, go to the "Permissions" tab. Then, in the row with the group's name, hover over the "to documents" field — pencil and eyeglasses icons will appear. Click the eyeglasses icon to open the preview:
After clicking, a new window will display the document structure exactly as the selected group sees it in the “Documents” → “Document Structure” tab.
Note: When viewing the Structure from the perspective of a selected group, keep in mind that documents cannot be opened directly from this view. To access them, go to the "Documents" tab.
