05. Description of Roles in the Q&A Answer Team

Moderator+

Shapes the Q&A Discussion Forum by creating teams asking questions based on existing groups in VDR; assigning roles of Moderator+ , Moderator, Expert, or Observer to selected users, and managing the entire module.

• Manages the Q&A Module;
• Assigns roles on the Question and Answer Team.
• Creates new Question Teams.
• Defines question categories.
• Establishes question limits.
• Can see all questions and answers to threads in the Question and Answer Team and can respond to them.
• Can ask new questions.
• While asking questions, can add attachments, i.e., assign documents from the structure to answers.
• Can delete entire discussion threads.
• Has a shared view of threads along with other Moderators+ and Moderators.

• Cannot delete answers within an entire thread.
• By default, cannot see the author of answers on the question-asking team's side **(author's email visibility can be activated - contact FORDATA SUPPORT).

Moderator

Supports the Moderator+ in leading discussions with the Teams Asking Questions and directs questions to Experts.

• Can see all questions and answers to threads in the Question and Answer Team and can respond to them.
• Can ask new questions.
• While asking questions, can add attachments, i.e., assign documents from the structure to answers.
• Can delete entire discussion threads.
• Has a shared view of threads along with other Moderators+ and Moderators.

• Cannot manage the Q&A Module.
• Cannot delete answers within an entire thread.
• Cannot see the author of answers on the Question-Asking Team's side.

Q&A Expert

Conducts consultations within their competencies by discussing with the team of Moderators.

• Can see and respond to questions exclusively in threads forwarded to them by a Moderator or Moderator+.
• Can ask new questions to the team of Moderators.
• While asking questions, can add attachments, i.e., assign documents from the structure to answers.
• Their response goes only to Moderator+ and Moderator.

• Cannot see the email address of the Moderator who forwarded the question.
• Cannot see email addresses of:
• The team of Moderators.
• Other Experts.
• Members of Teams Asking Questions.
• Cannot manage the Q&A Module.
• Cannot delete threads and answers.

Viewer

Is a passive observer of ongoing discussions within existing threads.

• Sees all questions and answers just like the team of Moderators.

• Cannot provide answers in any threads.
• Cannot manage the Q&A Module.
• Cannot delete threads and answers.
• Cannot direct questions to Experts.
