03. AI-POWERED REDACTION: New AI Redaction Tool
The AI-Powered Redaction Tool feature is available as a paid extension to the basic information redaction service, known as the Redaction Tool.
Take advantage of the new version of the redaction tool supported by artificial intelligence (AI). Increase the speed and efficiency of the document anonymization process.
Key capabilities of AI-powered redaction include:
✅ Searching for information in almost 80 languages, including those from the EMEA region: Polish, English, German, Hungarian, Czech, Romanian, Slovak, Estonian, Lithuanian, Latvian, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Finnish.

✅ Taking different grammatical forms into consideration when searching document content.
✅ Precise anonymization of categories required by GDPR, including PII (personal data) and PHI (Protected Health Information).

*The PDF file must be formatted with Optical Character Recognition (OCR) enabled.
When any of the listed types above are downloaded to the local disc, they will automatically be converted to PDF format.
This ensures that redacted areas remain in the designated locations.
Start redacting with the assistance of artificial intelligence.
- Under the Documents tab > Upload & Manage, select the PDF file by right-clicking on it and choosing the Redact option from the available list.
- Confirm the activation of the module, then select the Patterns tab.
- From the available categories, select the ones you want the system to search for in the entire document content and redact (if you see grayed-out items, they probably do not exist* in the text).
- Finally, click the Mark for Redaction button (GIF 1).
*Note: An AI-powered redaction tool may provide imprecise data, so always verify correctness before saving the final document version.
Manage and make changes to AI anonymization.
In the side panel, you can browse the redacted categories and areas. If necessary, remove a single item or the entire category (GIF 2).
