✅At any given time, only one user can redact a selected document.

✅There is an option to save a draft version of the document and continue working on it in the future, even by another authorized person managing the structure.

✅Both the draft version and the already saved version of the redacted document can be restored to the original document version at any time.

✅Redaction can be continued on a document where changes have already been made and saved.

✅The downloaded version of the document to the computer contains redacted areas.

✅The user cannot determine from the folder structure which document has redacted areas.

✅The administrator can download the original document at any time (without having to undo changes).

* The PDF file must be formatted with Optical Character Recognition (OCR) enabled.

When any of the listed types above are downloaded to the local disc, they will automatically be converted to PDF format.

This ensures that redacted areas remain in the designated locations.

Text selection - anonymize a given fragment of text in the document.

  1. Choose the document, right click on it and select Redact.
  2. Go to the Redact Area tab and select Text selection.
  3. Click and hold while dragging over the text lines in the document that needs to be covered. (gif. 1)

Area selection - anonymize any area on the document (e.g., charts, logos, images).

  1. Choose the document, right click on it and select Redact.
  2. Go to the Redaction Area tab and select Area selection.
  3. Click and hold as you drag on the document page to create a square that covers the relevant area. (gif. 2)
