With the introduction of the latest update to the Redaction Tool, we have enriched it with the capability to anonymize an additional 17 formats, including primarily Excel files.

The process of applying covered areas is shown using an Excel file as an example (gif.1).

Table containing the full list of file types subject to redaction tool in VDR:

Microsoft Word	DOC, DOCX	Can be readacted with AI-powered redaction tool
Microsoft PowerPoint	PPSX, PPT, PPTX	Can be readacted with AI-powered redaction tool
Microsoft Excel	XLS, XLSX, XLSB, XLSM, XLTX	Can be readacted with AI-powered redaction tool
Pozostałe formaty	CSV, MSG, ODS, ODT, RTF, TXT,	Can be readacted with AI-powered redaction tool
Extensible Markup Language	XML	Can be readacted with AI-powered redaction tool
Adobe	PDF*	Can be readacted with AI-powered redaction tool

* The PDF file must be formatted with Optical Character Recognition (OCR) enabled.

When any of the listed types above are downloaded to the local disc, they will automatically be converted to PDF format.

This ensures that redacted areas remain in the designated locations (gif. 2)
